Enjoying breathtaking views of the Lake District and the Scottish hills, Tottergill Farm makes a superb base for an unforgettable holiday experience.
Set within 50 acres of it's own grounds, Tottergill Farm is located in an unspoilt and often undiscovered area of Cumbria which attracts spectacular wildlife including many types of wild birds and, of course, Red Suirrels! Tottergill is away from the hustle and bustle yet only 10 miles from Carlisle and less than half an hour from the Lake District, Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish Borders. Tottergill Farm is a truly peaceful location in an area of oustanding natural beauty.
Our five exclusive holiday cottages are accessed via a single track road around a reservoir, just outside the village of Castle Carrock. The village can be accessed via a footpath (about a mile). There is a renowned, contempory style pub & restaurant, a village shop and a Church. Further amenities are available in Brampton which is 4 miles away. You are welcomed to Tottergill Farm by onsite owners and managers, Stephen & Joyce Wightman.
Tottergill Farm has a history of over 800 years (click here to read about it!). In more recent times it has provided exclusive holiday accomodation to guests from all over the UK and many parts of the world.
All 5 cottages have unique, distinguishing features (see our Cottages page) but all are prepared to an extremely high standard to ensure that guests enjoy a memorable stay.
Mill Barn cottage has a 5 star rating and with 4 bedrooms, offers accomodation for up to 8 people. All other cottages have 2 bedrooms and carry a 4 star rating.
